Run Domestic Violence Out of Town is the marathon team of The Network: Advocating Against Domestic Violence. Our runners take part in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon and the Hoka One One Half-Marathon and 5K. The Network: Advocating Against Domestic Violence is a membership organization dedicated to improving the lives of those impacted by gender-based violence through education, public policy and advocacy, and connecting community members with direct service providers.

Our mission is to raise funds & awareness for survivors of domestic violence through the shared dedication of our community.

Our Impact

The Network established the Survivor Crisis Fund for survivors of domestic violence to address critical gaps in the safety net. The Fund directly supports survivors and their families who are in need of immediate assistance. Funds raised by Run Domestic Violence Out of Town runners will go towards the Survivor Crisis Fund, to ensure that survivors of domestic violence and their families can stay safely housed with their basic needs met, and live a healthy life.
