Running domestic violence OUT of town π
i've met my goal but you can still donate :)
Dear friends, family, and supporters,
When my running journey began in high school for cross country, I had no idea the profound impact it would have on my life. Running became more than just a sport for meβit became an outlet, a source of strength, and a way to navigate the stresses of life and my professional career.
This year, Iβm channeling that passion into something even more meaningful: running the Chicago Marathon to support survivors of domestic violence through The Network: Advocating Against Domestic Violence.
Domestic violence is a silent epidemic, affecting millions across the globe, including people I deeply care about. In the U.S., 1 in 4 women and 1 in 9 men experience severe partner violence, often resulting in lasting trauma. This reality drives me to take action.
By running 26.2 miles, I hope to raise awareness and much-needed funds for those who have suffered in silence. These funds will go directly towards helping survivors find the support and resources they need to rebuild their lives.
THANK YOU for helping me reach my goal of $1,750 for The Networkβs Run Domestic Violence Out of Town Bank of America Marathon team! Your support, no matter how small, can make a significant difference.
You can still donate if you would like!
